Can I register to vote in Virginia?
Yes, if you are a U.S. citizen, your home is in Virginia and you are 18 years of age or older. If you will be 18 by the next General Election, you can register when you are 17. You first must have your voting rights restored if you are convicted of a felony, or if you are found mentally incompetent by a circuit court.
