The Governor has issued a strict stay at home order for the State of Virginia, and as such our office is closed indefinitely.  Informal assessment appeal deadlines will be extended to the close of business on Friday May 8th, 2020, please submit appeals electronically or via the USPS as soon as possible.  Fillable appeal forms can be found on our website at www.portsmouthva.gov/168/Official-Forms and can be submitted to [email protected].
