The Governor has issued a strict stay at home order for the State of Virginia, and as such our office is closed until April 30th.  All assessment appeal deadlines will be extended to a date unknown, but I strongly encourage property owners to submit appeals electronically or via the USPS as soon as possible.  Fillable appeal forms can be found on our website at www.portsmouthva.gov/168/Official-Forms and can be submitted to [email protected].
