MEETINGS

The Portsmouth Convention and Visitors Bureau will provide a number of services to help take the stress out of meeting and conference planning. These services include:
  • A complimentary Portsmouth information table is available to groups booked by the Portsmouth Convention and Visitors Bureau. The bureau can set up a table with literature on Portsmouth's attractions. The table can be staffed with a friendly face for a fee per hour with a three hour minimum (30-day notice is required).
  • Registration assistance is available for a fee per hour with a three-hour minimum. Our staff can assist you with registration needs by putting together information packets, writing name badges, directing guests, or passing out convention materials (30-day notice is required).
  • A bureau speaker can be provided offering a brief presentation, which highlights Portsmouth attractions and amenities.

  • Portsmouth postcards can be provided to groups for 25 cent each. Printing on postcards can be arranged for an additional fee. Restrictions apply (30-day notice is required).
  • Portsmouth plastic registration bags can be provided to groups. Quantities vary so please contact the bureau at least two months in advance for price listings and availability.

  • Complimentary electronic airport signage to welcome groups will be coordinated by the bureau.
  • The bureau will coordinate requests to the Mayor's office for welcome letters and proclamations.
  • The bureau can provide slides and other promotional materials for groups. Publications are complimentary.
  • The bureau can coordinate press releases and media coverage with local media.
  • The bureau can provide a variety of merchandise for convention giveaways, speaker and VIP gifts for a small cost. Quantities vary so please contact the bureau at least two months in advance for price listings and availability.
  • The bureau can assist groups in finding unique off-site venues for convention meetings and functions, or spousal tours.
