Project LifeSaver
There is a growing need for assistance among our elderly citizens and their families dealing with the repercussions
of Alzheimer's. Therefore we implemented the Project Lifesaver program. Using state of the art technology, citizens
enrolled in the program are outfitted with tracking bracelets. If an Alzheimer's patient should wander away from
home or care facility, the Portsmouth Sheriff's Office is immediately notified. Search teams are then assembled at
the last known site of the patient and tracking begins from that location. This program has a proven success rate.
Take a look at our pamphlet for additional information. If you still have questions, feel free to contact us or Project Lifesaver International.
