The Portsmout Sheriff's Office understands the difficulty friends or family members may encounter while trying to help someone close to them that is incarcerated. Because of this, we are trying to give you a better understanding of our Policies and Procedures. Our goal is to make your visit to the Portsmouth City Jail as smooth and easy as possible.
