Crime Line is a community effort, involving citizens, the police, and the news media working together to solve, and stop crime. The public is encouraged to anonymously call 1-888-Lock-U-Up, and provide tips in order to help police solve any crime, locate wanted
persons, stolen property or illegal narcotics, and in doing so, are eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Crime Line is run by up to 18 citizens from our community, along with a police coordinator.   The Board of Directors actively guides the Crime Line program, to help increase awareness in the community.

The facts about an unsolved crime, or wanted persons are aired on the radio and television, printed in various newspapers and circulated to numerous law enforcement agencies throughout the area. Citizens are asked to call Crime Line if they have any information regarding the crime. All calls are kept in complete confidence. If information provided to police lead to an arrest or the recovery of illegal items, the caller is eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000. Callers are never required to give their names or come to court.

CRIME LINE does not receive any funding from state or federal sources. It is a community project totally supported by your donations of money and services. Donations come from private sources, corporations, clubs, professional associations, retailers, civic and social groups, as well as individuals. All contributions are tax deductible.
