February’s Special Events and Classes
Sweetheart Bring a Friend Lunch & Dance
Thursday, February 14, 12:00pm. Dress in Red and bring a friend to our
Valentine’s Day social. Enjoy the afternoon while dancing to the classic
oldies and having a good ‘ol time. Reservations required by Monday,
February 5th.
Cost: $5 is due at the time of reservation.

Luck of the Irish Day
Monday March 17, All Day Wear green so that you don’t get pinched and join
us for a day of games and excitement.
April’s Special Events and Classes
Nags Head North Carolina
Friday, April 25, 10:00am-7:00pm. Join us as we venture out to Nags Head
to enjoy shopping, lunch, a look at the beach and other attractions.
Reservations are required by Monday, May 19, cost $5.00, due at the time
of reservation.
May’s Special Events and Classes
Cinco De Mayo Flower Festival
Monday, May 5. Come join our festive celebration with a flower parade
Philippine style with a Reina Elena, 1st, 2nd & 3rd Princesses, a
Philippine meal and festival music. Reservations required by Monday April
30, $3 due at time of reservation.
Senior Sports & Health Day
Thursday & Friday, May 9 & 10, 9:30am. Ready. Set. Go! Come out and
compete in various sporting competitions and events. Enjoy fun games,
competitions, lunch, free give-a-ways, screenings and health information
from various agencies and health organizations at Portsmouth’s City Park.
Registration is Friday, May 4, cost $5.00. For more information contact
the Senior Station. Rain date May 16.
June’s Special Events and Classes
Williamsburg!
Friday, June 6. Enjoy historical tours and attractions along with fine
dinning. We’ll shop until we drop at the Pottery and Outlet mall.
Reservations are required by Friday, May 30. Cost $5.00. All monies are
due at the time of reservation. Contact the Senior Station for more
details.
Van Service
Van Service is currently available for medical/nutritional and social
needs for those 60+ on a 1st call, 1st serve basis. Nutritional lunches
served three days a week, donations requested. Both services provided by
Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia. Donations to defray expenses are
requested.
