Nominations Now Being Accepted for 2007 Hall of Fame
Student-Athlete Achievement Awards
William Fuller of Philadelphia Eagles to Speak at Banquet in December


Portsmouth, VA—
The Virginia Sports Hall of Fame is seeking nominations from across Hampton Roads for the 2007 Hall of Fame Student-Athlete Achievement Awards. The awards will be presented at a special banquet on December 2, featuring guest speaker

William Fuller of the Philadelphia Eagles.

The awards are to honor young people dedicated on the field to their sport and off the field to academics and their community, as nominated by teachers, coaches and parents. Finalists will be selected from among applicants in four awards categories (boys ages 8-13, girls 8-13, boys 14-18 and girls 14-18). Four finalists from each category will be invited to the annual banquet and will receive special prize packages. One individual from each category will be announced that night as the Student Athlete of the Year, and will be featured in a special display at the Hall of Fame during January 2008.
