TEMPORARY MUSEUM CLOSING:
CHILDRENS MUSEUM OPEN SUNDAY 9/16; CLOSED 9/30

Portsmouth’s Children’s Museum of Virginia, 221 High Street, in Portsmouth, will close as a safety precaution due to demolition of adjacent buildings on Sunday, September 30, 2007. A closing was scheduled for September 16, but is postponed, and the museum will remain open on that day. Museums staff regrets any inconvenience that this may have caused.
