Who: National Model Railroad Association (Mid-Eastern Region, Tidewater Division)

What: The NMRA will set up a 25’ x 65’ layout and operate Model HO-scale trains at the Children’s Museum of VA.

When: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 17 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 18.

Where: Children’s Museum of Virginia, 221 High St., 2nd floor.

Why: The Tidewater Division of NMRA is involved in every aspect of model railroading, from the tiny N-scale to live steam locomotive enthusiasts, rail fanning and photography. Division members are dedicated to furthering the hobby of model railroading through public displays, community involvement and educational activities.

Admission: $6 per person. Children under 2 not required to pay.
