Description:
The City of Portsmouth's Department of Behavioral Healthcare Services is seeking a professional to supervise clinical staff by providing services to consumers in an outpatient substance abuse treatment/methadone program including the women's program, also supervises case management and drug court services. Work will involve supervising staff and ensuring standards, policies and procedures are followed according to state, federal, and CARF regulations.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a human services related field; 3 to 5 years of experience providing substance abuse services. Master's Degree and CSAC certification preferred.

Req:
Must possess a valid Driver's License issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Qualified applicants may be given a conditional employment offer. Actual employment is contingent upon the satisfactory results of a federal and state criminal background check using fingerprints and a search of the Virginia Department of Social Services' Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, as required by law.
