Station 3 was opened for operation in June of 1995.
The addition of Station 3 has increased the service coverage to meet the needs of the
rapidly growing Churchland section of the city. Station 3 houses Squad 3, Ladder 3
and Medic 3. Engine 3 is an Advanced Life Support (ALS) equipped
company. It is staffed with a minimum of one Paramedic and carries all
the ALS gear needed to respond to EMS emergencies. Additionally, Station 3 is home to the Maritime Incident Response
Team as well the Fire Boat Response
Personnel. |
