Station 12 is one of two stations that protect the Churchland area, one of Portsmouth's largest and fastest-growing communities. Once a small station when Portsmouth annexed a portion of the Western Branch section of Chesapeake in 1968, it has recently undergone renovations to modernize the building and to enhance it's overall safety and functionality. Station 12 houses Engine 12 and Brush Truck 12.
