PORTSMOUTH TASK FORCE ON AGING (PTFA)
is a non-profit Group of Professionals who are dedicated to improving the quality of life for seniors in our community.
The Task Force will serve as a forum to share information and to promote interagency and understanding for seniors. We will work together as advocates, educators and legislative activists to address the issues of older adults.

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Commission
The ADA Commission is charged to hear appeals from the public regarding requests or suggestions pertaining to discrimination, on the basis of disability, by the City, whether in seeking employment, access to services, programs and public facilities. For more information call 363-3800
Behavioral HEALTHCARE Services Advisory Board
The Behavioral Healthcare Services Advisory Board is responsible for advising the City Council regarding rules, regulations, policies, operations and services provided by the Department of Behavioral Healthcare Services. For more information call 393-8618

Emergency Medical Services Advisory Commission
The Emergency Medical Services Advisory Commission serves in an advisory role to the City Council. The Commission's primary objective is to serve as a catalyst to effect cooperative arrangements for improving better utilizing emergency medical resources in the City and to develop and implement a comprehensive city emergency service plan.
