Never heard of Keva Blocks®?

Every piece is the same. They are about 1/4 inch thick, 3/4 inch wide and 4 1/2 inches long.

You build structures by simply stacking the planks. No glue, no connectors. They can be stacked upright which looks like it would be unstable as a house of cards, but even this type of structure is surprisingly stable.

The simplicity is compelling. Let your imagination take over!

Calling all Webkinz fans! Be part of our Summer of Adventure! Meet the Webkinz Road Trip team and visit Webkinz World in the real world. Sing along to Kinz Karaoke. Spin the Wheel of Wow. Play games, win prizes, and get a special Feature Code card just for coming out.

Bring your colored sheets to the Children's Museum Tuesday, May 15, between 3 and 5 pm for a chance at winning a free Webkinz™ plush pet. We'll award winners in 4 age groups: 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10. We'll also put the colored sheets on display in the Museum.

Coloring Contest Rules: Limit two entries per child. One prize given per age group. Paid admission to the Children's Museum not necessary to enter or win.

33rd Annual Elizabeth River Run

Featuring the Children's Museum Fun Run at 10:00am.

You can help children learn by making a donation to the Portsmouth Museums Foundation, a 501-c-3 organization. 100% of donated funds and a portion of the race proceeds will benefit the Children's Museum of Virginia.

Register online at the ERR-Tidewater Striders website. Just add your donation to the race entry fee check or make a separate check payable to the “Portsmouth Museums Foundation Inc.”
