City Treasurer

The new City Treasurer’s Branch Office will officially open at the Churchland Library, located at 4934 High Street West on Monday, August 17th at 10 a.m. The office will accept payments to the City Treasurer and to Public Utilities. The hours of operation will be from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays. The entrance to the office is located on the side of building that faces Cedar Lane. Designated handicap parking spaces and a 24-hour drop box will be available.

In addition to the duties imposed upon him by state law, the City Treasurer shall have such other official duties as may be imposed upon him by city charter and the ordinances of the city. He shall collect and receive all city taxes, levies, assessments, license taxes, rents, fees and all other revenues or moneys accrued to the city, and for that purpose shall be vested with any and all powers which are now or may hereafter be vested in such City Treasurer as collector of the state taxes. He shall be the custodian of all public moneys of the city, and of all other moneys coming into his hands as City Treasurer.  Click here for the City Treasurer's Bio.
